Ah, I meant to write about this and forgot! The meat was good - it was very reminiscent of roast beef: dark, with a similar grain. The skin wasn't as crispy as I would have liked, but I did skip the final "browning" stage of cooking which might have helped.

It's certainly not something that we'll make often, but it's quite nice for a special occasion.

So was the goose meat and skin tasty enough to justify all the trouble? I know having all that rendered fat is gold, but how was the goose as main dish?

This has been my go-to recipe for chocolate chip cookies for over a year now... They are the very best I have ever tasted; and I have tested major chocolate chip recipes. They are consistently yummy and chewy.

I will say that Magic Sushi is cheap, yes but all their rolls taste the same. They are called different things but they all taste exactly the same.

Ta.ke Sushi on Pembina hwy is THE BEST. I have been to many sushi restaurants including Sushi Train and there is no comparison. Sushi train has tiny portions and is pricey. Ta.ke has a great selection and the employees are fantastic. The sushi always tastes so fresh and delicious. The only problem is that its take out only. There are a few "tables" there but only for about 4 people. Dont waste your time at Sushi Train (or your money)
